Adult Classes
In our flagship lectures, students will experience three different aspects of Islam: Aqeedah (Islamic Creed), Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) and the Seerah of the Prophet (saw). In Aqeedah, students gain an in-depth understanding of beliefs in Islam and how to be conscious of them. Students also cover more practical aspects of the deen when studying Fiqh and learning the rulings pertaining to different acts. Our Seerah lessons allow students to journey though the life of the prophet Muhammad (saw) and to emulate his actions by learning from his examples. All lessons are taught by ’Alimiyyah qualified lecturers and learning in the classroom is supplemented with unique learning materials and books produced by Safar Academy, specifically designed for our students to maximize their understanding of Islam.

Recitation with Tajweed
We place great importance on the correct implementation of the rules of tajweed. Classes are ability-based so that students’ skills and weaknesses can be better targeted, allowing our teachers to specifically address individual needs. Over the duration of the Tajweed course, we teach students to read Arabic from the ground upwards, starting at letter recognition and moving onto advanced recitation of the Qur’an, whilst enhancing fluency and refining pronunciation. Our higher level students are taught advanced rules of tajweed and with the assistance of our qualified staff, students are able to beautify and perfect the art of recitation.
Memorisation
In the Memorisation lesson, students are taught essential surahs which they can recite during prayer, as well as basic dua’s. Students can learn at their own pace and are provided with Safar Academy\’s Memorisation books to complement their learning and revision. Once a student has reached a high level of memorisation, they are able to join our advanced lecture-based course which covers Imam an-Nawawi\’s Forty Ahadith, Qudsiyyah and Tafseer of the Qur\’an.
Once memorised, students are taught the equivalent English translation, followed by every-day duas and the 40 ahadith of Imam an-Nawawi for advanced students.
